The Conservation Management Plan (CMP) was commissioned in December 2017 by Building and Asset Services (BAS), Department of Housing and Public Works (HPW), on behalf of the Department of Education and Training (DET).


Urangan Point State School is located Miller St, Urangan, on land described as 8SP270125. The school is important to Queensland’s education heritage and has been assessed as a State heritage place. It was entered in the Queensland Heritage Register, (QHR 601375) in 1994.

The fencing to the 1957 transpiration area can be seen far left with Millar St behind. The trees appear to have been lost
