Ambulance Sub-Centre, Sixth Avenue, Maroochydore, 1993. The Station was opened on 2 December 1961 by the then premier of Queensland, G.F.R. Nicklin. It closed in 2000: https://buff.ly/2NwX0JY

The building had cost 8,500 pounds. It was a two-storey building with a besser brick construction on the ground floor and chamferboard on the upper floor.

The top floor included a residence for the permanent officer in charge, and a casualty room, office, store room, bearer’s room and a garage for ambulance cars occupied the ground floor.
