Oct 2014 - Neville Underwood visited the Signal Station. As a teenager he helped his dad Edward (Ted) build this place in 1953. It was originally a beach house but Ted moved in permanently in 1958, and he lived there till he died in 1996. The verandah was built in in the 1960s. Ted was a chair maker by trade and built the console in the Signal Station. The place was called Via Condios from the song of the same name - it meant may God be with you.
